Connecting Hearts All Around the World

His Holiness Gayuna Cealo

His Holiness Gayuna Cealo (Cealo) is a Buddhist Monk who has put forth great effort in creating FGH-USA and other charity organizations across the world.   In Burmese Gayuna (pronounced "Guy You Na") means "Compassion" and Cealo (pronounced "See A Low") means "Great Monk or Teacher".  His main path of Compassion is what he calls Direct Action (see below for details)

Cealo has dedicated his life to helping people become spiritually and economically self-sufficient.  Traveling with all his possessions in just a suitcase, Cealo campaigns for world peace, advocates for underprivileged women and children in Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Cambodia and provides basic necessities for people living in non-industrialized countries.  He is the leader of the Foundation for Global Harmony, USA and Cealo Global Harmony-Japan, both not-for-profit organizations established solely to support his work.

Cealo was ordained as a Theravada Buddhist monk in Myanmar.  However, he considers his beliefs in compassion, love, charity and detachment as universal truths at the core of all religions.  He regularly coordinates charitable activities and helps people from different cultures and religious traditions.  In this way, Cealo brings people from all parts of the world together to celebrate the divinity in all, without judgment.

Cealo doesnt find it relevant to speak about his life prior to becoming a monk.  He believes who you are in the moment is most important.  Thus, Cealo wants to focus on what he is doing now and how he encourages others to do their best.

Necessary Items to Necessary Places at Necessary Times Direct Action

Cealos approach to charitable activities, which he calls Direct Action, is simple:

-  First he observes what people truly need.

 - Then he does his best to help them meet those needs.

He says we cannot judge what is necessary for another person through the eyes of our own personal and cultural experiences.  Rather, we must uncover what is necessary for them in their culture and with their experiences. This is the heart of his charitable work and Direct Action.

Cealo's Healing Presence

While Cealo does not consider himself a healer, many people have reported healings from being in his presence.  These illnesses include cancer, diabetes, fibroid cysts, chronic migraines and depression.  His genuine compassion for people naturally creates a healing environment.  His ability to see into the depths of peoples hearts enables him to provide guidance, assisting individuals in reorienting their lives in positive ways to affect their physical, emotional and spiritual health.

Cealo's Charitable Activities

His charitable work in the US and Japan focuses on creating spiritual self-sufficiency and promotion of peace.  His programs include meditation retreats, private spiritual consultations and public discussions.  Donations support Cealos Direct Action activities in Myanmar, Cambodia and Sri Lanka.  Cealo directly oversees these charitable activities by traveling to these countries and providing the support directly to the people.  These activities, among many others, include providing rice requested by a Catholic orphanage in Myanmar, funding a village of 50 families in Myanmar to build the villages only water well and providing equipment to manufacture concrete bricks to tsunami victims in Indonesia

Cealos work is motivated by love, which evaluates and feels the situation and then does whats best for the person.  Cealo helps people plant their seeds of self-sufficiency and reliance and then encourages those seeds to grow.
